Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 Maintenance Pack 2 (version 6.0.1710) _____________________________________________________________________________ GENERAL DESCRIPTION Maintenance Pack 2 for Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 extends the functionality of the application and fixes errors found in its earlier versions. Maintenance Pack 2 is a cumulative update for the Kaspersky Administration Kit. It may be used both for an initial Kaspersky Administration Kit install and for an upgrade of any earlier application version. The following procedure is recommended to upgrade the application: 1) Read this document carefully and determine whether you need this upgrade. 2) Back up Administration Server data using the klbackup.exe tool or the Administration Server backup task. Please note that the Server certificate must be saved for a complete restoration of Administration Server data. 3) Initiate a Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 Maintenance Pack 2 setup on the host with the Administration Server installed and perform a Server upgrade. The new version of the Administration Server is backwards compatible. All data related to the previous version of the Administration Server will be preserved. 4) If Network Agents need to be upgraded as well, create a Network Agent Version 6.0.1710 group or global installation task for the corporate computers. Configure it as a manual or a scheduled task. After the task completes successfully, the Network Agent will be upgraded on the clients. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- What is New in Version 6.0.1710 (Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 Maintenance Pack 2) As Compared to Version 6.0.1591 (Kaspersky Administration Kit 6.0 Maintenance Pack 1 Critical Fix 3).
