Fill in the TrustedServers section (detailed information see in the Implementation Guide). 4. Test the database for integrity (load fixup kav8.0.0.73_lotusen.nsf) 5. Run the HTTP task on the server. 6. In the browser, open the database at the following address: http:\\\kav8.0.0.73_lotusen.nsf?OpenDatabase&Login. 7. Follow the instructions. 8. Restart the Lotus Notes/Domino server. 9. After the KavControl task is loaded, install the key (tell kavcontrol addlicensekey ). 10. Initiate update of the databases (tell kavcontrol startupdater). Installation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus via Lotus Notes client: 1. Copy the kav8.0.0.73_lotusen.nsf database to the Domino data directory. 2. Known issues and workarounds ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Only 32-bit Lotus Notes/Domino are supported. 2. The server with Domino Configuration Directory is not supported. 3. When working with Linux operating system, OLE objects are classified as objects which cannot be desinfected. It is recommended to disable OLE objects scanning (Linux). 4. When installing the application under Linux, the version of the OS is displayed improperly. 5. If a file path contains any white spaces, the entire path should be put in quotes, for example: "x:\file_path\file.key" (Windows). 6. If an archive with safe and infected objects is attached to a document, this archive will be deleted after disinfection. 7. After the secondary installation is completed, the administrator has to make sure if the database replicates are created at the secondary installation server and the process is successfully completed, so that the server can be only be restarted after this procedure. 8. If the "Edit document on the protected server" check box is selected, the application runs incorrectly on Lotus Notes 6.5, 7. 9. After a Lotus Domino failure you are advised to restart the server to run Kav4Lotus. 10. After you change data in one of the KAVControlCenter.nsf replicas, one of the replicas contains documents of type [Replication or Save conflict] for server documents.
